Top notch pork (links, sausage, or bacon from Beeler’s and Mulay’s), Pasture-Raised Eggs (almost gone for this week–more next week), hash browns made from Lloyd Craft Farms Huckleberry Gold potatoes, fresh squeezed juice from Heirloom oranges (from whence other oranges evolved)….hmmmmm Try our Spicy Bacon from Tender Belly: Spicy Habanero!

FRESH PRODUCE DAY at Bee Healthy

After a chaotic last week with no delivery trucks from distributors, we have FRESH Produce this week from Spokane! (And carrots, potatoes, onions, red cabbage, winter squash from Lloyd Craft Farms…winter squash: Delicata and Carnival, Acorn, Kabocha, Spaghetti, and some imported Butternut’s.). As far as we know we are to receive a delivery from the 18 wheeler tomorrow! It’s all GOOD!

So, what do we have?

Yukon and Huckleberry Gold potatoes, ORG yams, onions of three colors (ORG red, yellow, white) and ORG garlic, Sugarsnax sweet carrots and Cosmic (locally grown), 2# bag ORG red beets, ORG Daikon radishes and Baby Bok Choi.

Greybull Valley Lettuce, Organic Girl 50/50 Salad Mix and Baby Spinach, ORG kale (makes nutritious soups for this time of year!), ORG cilantro and ORG Pprsley for your seasoning needs.

Broccoli Asian Crowns, celery (conventional) and celery hearts (organic), ORG cucumbers, ORG green and locally grown red cabbage.

FRUITS: Heirloom Oranges are in for the first time this season, ORG Honeycrisp apples, lemons and Rio Star Pink Grapefruit, avocados, and Roma tomatoes. (I have squeeze lime juice in the cooler–). PRICES are REASONABLE–Quantities limited–

Let it SNOW! News from Bee Healthy–

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! Snow beckons into our minds wintery Christmas visions, until you step out into the wind and have your breath sucked away and your car won’t start…then the reality of the WINTER season hits you full force! Truthfully though, we will take it all in stride…the winters with their storms and the challenge to motors and engines…just to live in wonderful Wyoming, nestled in the Rockies and surrounded by common beauty and lots of wide open spaces. 2022 will come to a close, and the adventures of 2023 will unfold…Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

No new fresh produce this Thursday, truck is delayed due to closed roads, and wind. Truck should arrive sometime Thursday and we will have the produce restocked for Friday sales. We still have some produce:

3# apples, 3# ripe bananas–

Greybull Valley Lettuce, 1 kale, 4 cucumbers, 6 Green Bell Peppers, and a ton of Parsley (both Curley and Italian Flat…company doesn’t know the difference between Cilantro and Italian Flat Parsley, or Flat and Curley Parsley…therefore 12 ParsleysTon could be an exaggeration–)-

5 broccoli, 6 celery hearts, 1 Romanesco, 1 bag Brussels sprouts, good supply of Green Cabbage and Red Cabbage

January through June we run our Special Box program with weekly produce (including fruit), July through November Lloyd Craft Farms provides garden fresh and the best through their CSA (membership funds the garden–sign up in the spring), and Bee Healthy replenishes their holdings every week!

Every Thursday is Fresh Produce Day… At this time of year we have organics and ‘clean 15’ produce from Spokane; AND potatoes, onions, winter squash, and carrots from Lloyd Craft Farms.
