The season is a changing, and with it a change in activities…less time in the garden and more time in the store!
**Liz spent this week bringing in the fall decor. Lloyd and Jared brought in the pumpkins! Terri filled the CSA boxes, and Kaleb helped stocked the shelves with our Friday order. Liz and I are so thankful for Becky and Diane at Bee Healthy who helped during this busy time of year! With their help we have continued to provide good healthy foods and an abundance of supplements, as well as unique gift ideas and cards, and a diversity of healthy home options such as Biokleen, Aunt Fannies, and Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day suds and solvents for non-toxic cleaning. Not to forget the CBD products, mushroom extracts, and a good supply of high quality personal care items.
**The garden had its glitches…no tomatoes other than Cherry tomatoes, and odd and erratic growing patterns all season! At one point I thought no veggies to end out the season, which started late. But it will run until the first week in November…YAY! We will have potatoes, carrots, onions, several varieties of cabbages, celery, and lots of cauliflower including the somewhat elusive Romanesco! Broccoli is in shortage, but not sweet peppers (Sweetie Snack and Bell Peppers of all colors…even some remaining Shishito’s) or hot peppers (Poblano, Jalapeno, Pueblo Roasting peppers, Krimzon Lee Paprika, Chili’s drying in the green house, and two mini bushes of Aurora to rival the Habanero in heat). All this will take care of the CSA Members and supply Bee Healthy–
