Week 15- Group B–CSA Sign up Opportunity, and the Value of Food

This is the LAST Thursday in APRIL for Group B…April 30th is a FIFTH Thursday!  As everyone knows, this means IF you want a box the 30th you need to sign up by THIS WEEK.  Here’s the WHAT THE HECK?: Group A is the 1st and 3rd Thursday’s, Group B is the 2nd and 4th…so FIFTH Thursday is open for all!  (I automatically sign up the Weekly- that are in Group A & B)

Week 15- Group B:  Terrific Trio Mini-heads Lettuce, ORG Tri-Pack Colored Bell Peppers, THREE ORG Cucumbers, THREE Heirloom Oranges, a pound of WASHINGTON Asparagus, ORG Garlic (sleeve of THREE), and maybe THREE Garnet Sweet Potatoes (depends how they weigh–2.5# worth)– $30 and info sheet with handy returnable BOX.

4 EXTRA’s for Folks interested in giving the Buyer’s Group a whirl for the month of May!  TEXT 431-1219 to reserve and sign up!

Too busy to shop…then, order ahead!  Text 431-1219 or email your grocery list to craftterri@rtconnect.net by WEDNESDAY.  ($5.00 set up fee)  Delivery after 3:00 on Thursday can be arranged, too.   NO ADD-ONS or ORDERS taken on Thursday–we are too swamped!

Enjoying the regular high quality veggies?  Then sign up for the CSA!  Pay before May 15th and save $35-$65–Sign up on-line at http://www.lloydcraftfarms.com , CSA tab, fill in form, then Submit!  Send a check or pay with cash on Thursday’s at The Farm, 1049 Washakie Ten, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The value of fresh veggies is the micronutrient content.  Macronutrients are protein, fats, and carbohydrates that give us energy…Micronutrients are what helps with cell metabolism and pumps up the gut and immune system.  Micronutrients are minerals, vitamins, bioflavonoids, anthocyanins, lycopene, alpha and beta Carotenes, to name a few, and are involved in multiple cell functions and critical to our health.  They are only in fruits and veggies.  Supplements are great, but the real thing is even better!

    Hi Terri. If you still have a box available I would take one. Finally got out of quarantine from getting home from AZ. Please let me know if I can get a box. Thanks!
