Week 1 went smoothly, with the last box going out this afternoon from the cooler on The Farm. The thing that thrills me is how we have been able to seamlessly refrigerate those items that need it, maintaining freshness and holding them longer! We met the Spokane truck Wednesday at the end of the lane. Despite the frigid wind we moved them right into the coolers after the 3 minute trip up the lane! And they were there until taken to YOUR homes–LOVE IT! (My back and right shoulder thank you, too! No lifting and moving heavy boxes of produce twice–)
Now for this week! Group B: 2# ORG Honeycrisp Apples, ORG Cauliflower, ORG Cucumber, Lloyd Craft Farms Redwing Jumbo Onion, 1# ORG Garnet Sweet Potatoes (AKA Yams), ORG Cherry Tomato on-the-vine (12 oz), Greybull Valley Green Leaf Living Lettuce, ORG Earthbound Green Beans (12 oz)– $30
We are transitioning the Letter insert on-line for this week! This will reduce cost, save my poor printer, and still provide you access to information and recipes– A copy will be at Thursday Pick up for those that wish to take a quick picture! (My preference, as the recipes are then on my phone and easy to read in the kitchen during meal preparation–)
