Thursday, October 4th Pick Up

The wind is a-whistling, heralding in the cooler days of Fall…and maybe an early Winter. And so the garden comes to a close, but not before a panicked rush to ‘bring it all in’!

October 4th is the 13th week of the CSA, and for many the last share. With that in mind, we will have a small pumpkin this week for each member, with the exception of Group B Leap-Frog’s which will get theirs next week.

Bring a couple of bags or a big box–shares are massive!

Celery, Brussels Sprouts stalk, Deadon Cabbage, French Fingerling Potatoes, 2 green/red Peppers, small cucumber, onion, broccoli sides, and your choice of winter squash!

The Store will have our own fresh picked lettuce from the high tunnel (YUM!), Turnips, red beets, cheddar cauliflower bags, and the usuals. We have the last of our Dragon’s Tongue Beans, and I ordered in some Taylor Farms pre-washed and bagged Green Beans.

See you 4:00 pm tomorrow! The Farmer’s Wife.
