Still time to join the CSA–Deadline June 1st

Don’t miss out on Fresh, Locally grown veggies every Thursday at The Farm beginning in July.  Membership affords you the opportunity to shop The Store for fruit, herbs, specialty veggies, Blue Heron Ranch eggs, and mushrooms every Thursday from 4-6 pm.  Cost to join is $100 to $400 depending on how many weeks.  CSA runs from July through October.  Pick up and shopping every Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Diamond S Delights is also there with their fresh raw milk products!  Visit http://www.lloydcraftfarms.com, CSA tab for more information!  Applications at Bee Healthy.

May is our last month for Thursday Market at the back of Bee Healthy!  It has been a good RUN and thanks for all the new folks and old friends–  The very last Special Box is May 31st–Sign up NOW to reserve your BOX.  

Last Box for GROUP A (THIS WEEK):  4# ORG Lady Alice Apples, our very own Lloyd Craft Farms Broccolini (Galion X–first harvest!!), 12 oz bag Green Beans, our own Red Zeppelin Onion (last of the season), ORG Rainbow Chard and ORG Red Beets and the Swiss Chard Salad recipe (add dried cranberries, slivered almonds, and cucumber), Info Sheet (including other uses for beets and their nutritional profile)–$25 (Group A–sign up Thursday for the May 31st Box–)

“What Produce at Buyer’s Group” page has been updated for this week.  Two new items are Romanesco heads (Green geometric Cauliflower type) AND more of the Gem Avocados out of California (larger, creamier, and keep longer).  We will also have more of our own Broccoli Raab (Sessantina Grossi variety) for your braising pleasure!  AND lots of our own Fresh Spinach–both the ready to eat 5 oz zip bags, and 1# bags of Braising Spinach.

AND, oh….still room in the CSA.  Membership will close June 1st.
