Here’s what you should know about LEEKS: they are in the Allium family with other onion types, but they are handled differently in the body. Some folks that are allergic to onions can handle leeks. Leeks, along with garlic and onions, are body healthy and have amazing healing abilities within a healthy body. Onions and Garlic have a prominent place in cancer fighting according to some prominent academic studies.**
