UPDATE on Peaches and Blueberries

Peaches are in!  I was able to order #1’s and #2’s. I have 15 cases of each. Both were picked August 11th and 12th.

#2’s are usually used for canning and are not as beautiful, (scarring, some exterior worm damage and discoloration) but cost less and work great.  They will be ready to can this week-end.  Cost is $30 for about 20#.

#1’s are packed with liners and are BEAUTIFUL.  They will keep a little longer because of the way they are packaged.  These are the eating peaches.  Cost is $36 for about 18#.

They can be picked up Thursday at The Farm between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m.  It will be first come on choice of peaches. Peaches are available to those that ordered them both first time and this week. If you can’t make it Thursday, I will have them for you to pick up at Farmer’s Market.

**We will be selling them in by the pound at Farmer’s Markets–one to three pound sizes–for $1.75/pound.**

Remember:  We will be ordering more peaches in September from Utah…and pears, apples, and pitted cherries.

Thanks– The Farmer’s Wife

    Thanks, Nancy
