Greetings from The FARM–Wednesday Spring Share Pick ups— Same place, same time: Museum Parking Lot, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
This week we have 1 pound bag of GOURMET LETTUCE MIX for everyone.
FULL SPECTRUM has a small bag of SALANOVA mixes, and hopefully TURNIPS…The Farmer just told me he watered them today with fish emulsion…not sure we want to SMELL them, let alone EAT them. We’ll see how they are in the morning–
Also, the BROCCOLI is ready, but only 19 heads this week. The First 19 Full Spectrum’s will get the BROCCOLI this week, and the remainder will have BROCCOLI next week.
BTW–we tied up the CAULIFLOWER this week, and the CARROTS are looking good! Look for some extras in the cooler at PICK UP–

Good morning Teri. I know this is silly but every time I read your emails I think to myself “that’s not me right?” Spring share and the veggie share that I signed up for are different? I keep reading your page and the emails to make sure I’m doing it right. Michelle handled everything last year. I was just the muscle that always picked it up! I don’t want to be missing out if I am misunderstanding!

Not silly at all Nicole–The Spring Share is new this year and started the first week in May. We only have 30 Spring Shares because it is mostly greens that are raised in the big hoop house. HOWEVER, the Summer Shares that you are a part of will start the end of June or first week in July and it will have MUCH MORE…and serve 100 people! Stay tuned–when the Summer Shares are ready I’ll post an announcement with LOTS OF FANFARE! Thanks for the good question–and you’re not the first to ask. 🙂
