PAYPAL Payment–Saves time!

I want to encourage you to consider PayPal.  You don’t have to have a PayPal account, but can pay using your debit card–Just like at the grocery store. The Link on the Spring Share Sign Up page is easy–just like buying on-line with a credit card.

Using PayPal is WIN-WIN for everyone:  Fast and convenient for you–And a life-saver for me.  We want to double the size of the garden again this year and bring more members in–time is of the essence!  Time not spent filling out deposit slips and running money to the bank is time spent nurturing your food and putting energy into production.

Give PayPal a try!  The Farmer’s Wife Thanks YOU!

SPRING SHARE Sign up

If you are one of the 30 lucky people who signed up for the Spring Share, your applications and payment options have been emailed to you.  If, for some reason, you don’t get the email, you can check out www.lloydcraftfarms.com, click on the new page titled Spring Share Sign-up.  You will need to send me an email for the application.

Applications should be returned by March 10th.

SPRING SHARES

THERE IS STILL TIME TO GET A SPRING SHARE–If I had you signed up previously you received a personal email today.  If you thought you signed up BUT you did not get a personal email, then I don’t have your request—BUT it’s not too late!  Email to craftterri@rtconnect.net or text to 431-1219.  (note the new email address)

We are starting plants now for harvest in May–produce raised in the hoop house, cool crop varieties–They don’t always do well in the Summer.

2 Share Types available:

GREENS ONLY—1#/weekly of lettuces, spinach, kale, and/or Swiss chard.  (A pound should last you all week–) We can’t wash or cut things up (Food Safety Law), but we will do our best to harvest it clean. All will be bagged in our yellow Organic Veggies bags.            Cost is $79 a Share—under $10 a week.

FULL SPECTRUM—Greens above (same terms), PLUS Bok Choi, Kohlrabi, Baby Carrots, Broccoli, Radishes, and Turnips as they become available. We are also trying some short day, smaller headed cauliflower, and tatsoi—an Asian green—and mache—a European green.  Cost is $120 a Share–$15 a week.

NOTES:  You’re 8 weeks won’t be cut short because of inclement weather…Still working on the Pick Up details.  PU will be a Wednesday or Thursday.  Because the farm is a mud hole in the Spring, we plan to use the Produce truck and bring the Shares to town.  Time and location for Pick Up will be determined later.

THANKS—The Farmer’s Wife
