In order to put all our energy into the garden harvest (and hopefully some clean-up), we will again have the Pick Up’s on Saturday—October 5th and then Saturday, October 12th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All 85 members will be picking up on Saturday–weather is supposed to be 66 degrees and clear.
Fruit Share Pick Up will also be on Saturday, cooler #2, during the same time. Bring extra bags or boxes. 🙂
We will be putting together the ADD4Weeks option for delivery the last week. Once we have filled those orders we will know how many potatoes, onions, and winter squash will be available for sale.
The only remaining canning orders to fill are for broccoli–the last planting should be ready in the next couple of weeks. Oh, and also some red beets–the cold has slowed down their growth.
Still have some hot peppers of all kinds, and extra bells. All $2.75/#, except for the Habanero which is $6.00/#. Still have seedless watermelons for sale, and a few cantaloupe.
We can find an eggplant or two if interested–though the plants looked pretty tired…and so am I… The Farmer’s Wife

I’m always interested in eggplant, as you know. Send the farmer to pick!! LOL! Oh, the farmer is tired too? No wonder…!
