Terri, had a great dinner tonite with the red cabbage. Browned 2 large pork chops and removed when crispy. Into pan I put chopped bacon, diced onion, and 2 sliced MacIntosh apples to brown. Then added 1/2 head of red cabbage chopped. sauted til beginning to soften. Added 3-4 TBS brown sugar, 1/4 cup cider vinegar, salt, pepper and 1/2 tsp thyme. Placed chops on top, covered, turned heat to med low and let cook for 20 min. until pork chops done. Oh boy was that great! Thanks for the cabbage and onion. Bo and Jo 🙂
