I will be making applesauce this weekend…but that is after the Salsa on Saturday with Brenda in my kitchen! If you have not been to The Farmer’s Wife’s Kitchen you must come–not quite the old fashioned bastion of your grandmother but more of an eclectic update like me. The heart of any kitchen has been the ability to gather and chat…and that we have in abundance. I have enjoyed the times we’ve had together for the past three gatherings…there was four, but I fell asleep from garden exhaustion and wedding wind-down for the Jellies and Jams repeat.
So PLEASE– COME! Saturday, 9:00 a.m. for Salsa and then help me cut up apples for the sauce…and some apple crisp with fresh cream! (Kris! Can I borrow your cow??)
If you would like your own sauce and to freeze some sliced apples for a couple of winter pies, I still have three boxes left…Can sell them in 10# bags for $18 or the entire box for $68. (Box weighs 40#) These are Organic and locally grown–
Hope you can join me in my kitchen tomorrow morning. Send me an email so I can have enough Kombucha harvested, or the coffee or tea on for those not wanting the fermented (non-alcoholic) drink–
