Next Wednesday is the FIRST DAY OF SPRING!

Membership Drive is nearing completion–we have 57 signed agreements, 9 checks ‘in the mail’, and 6 reserved spots–We are almost full with only 2 Memberships left!

Farmer has planted 2/3 of the hoop, manure spreader will be delivered next week, and we are ordering the drip tape and mulch for this year. All the seed is in and plants are being started at the greenhouse. We are reading like crazy on the culture of celery–a new crop this year! AND last night The Farmer reported that the spinach in the small hoop that we abandoned last fall because of aphids is REGROWING and clean! Sounds like fresh spinach some time this week–

Last night for dinner we had fresh pork chops from a locally butchered hog, potatoes (Farmer Lee’s on the way to Billings) fried with steamed bell peppers and kale, and a scrumptious salad made from spinach and Romaine hearts. We will be eating the last of our fall carrots this week!
