We have cantaloupe… 🙂
We have CANTALOUPE for the FRIDAY Pick-up SHAREs… 🙂
AND all you TUESDAY people, if you want to stop by the FARMER”S MARKET on SATURDAY, we will give you one, TOO!
We will also have CORN, BELL PEPPERS, HEAD LETTUCE, and CANTALOUPE for sale at the FARMER”S MARKET–
WASN’T THAT SCRUMPTIOUS CORN!! …talk about melt in your mouth! In this week’s Share you had a half-a-dozen to a dozen ears. Next week you will have twice that amount– But that may not be enough–if you’d like MORE before your pick-up day, or are having company for dinner and need more, stop by our table downtown at the Farmer’s Market and purchase that melt-in-your mouth CORN. 🙂
I am working on CORN prices and volumes for the CANNER’s Share–prices and allotments will be posted this weekend. Still have PICKLING CUCUMBERS and GREEN BEANS AVAILABLE–check out the CANNER’S SHARE Page…we will be adding opportunities to buy BELL PEPPERS, CARROTS (juicing and freezing), and CANTALOUPE in bulk. Stay tuned…
One more thing: The Farmer and I have been working hard to deliver to you the best and freshest veggies. The Farmer spent most of today learning about the effects of cold temperatures (i.e. optimum cooler temps) and honing his techniques for keeping the vegetables the freshest from the plant or vine in the field, to the cooler, to you.. We will be sharing with you what you can do once they leave the CSA to keep them the freshest and the ‘bestest’ while in your care prior to consumption. Stay tuned…

Hey Lloyd and Terri, I just wanted to say how excited I am when Tuesdays come around. You folks are working so hard and the food is excellent. I appreciate all your thoughts to hone the pickup times. Everything is working beautifully. You should be quite proud. 🙂
