Tuesday’s Pick-up was chaos–and The Farmer and I apologize for that!
We think we have a solution–A CHANGE in the delivery and hopefully an IMPROVEMENT in the outcome…
The Shares will be pre-assembled and lined up behind the cooler door in the white crates.
(FULL Share crates will be labeled FULL–usually two crates per Share.)
Check your name off the check-list, take your share from the cooler to the tables on the lawn, and then transfer the goodies from the crate to your bags.
Take caution when you make the transfer that your lettuce and other fragile leafy greens are not crushed at the bottom of your bag. We will try to pack the crates to make the transfer easy, but with the volume of veggies going out right now that may not be possible.
We would suggest 2 (TWO) bags–Best bags are the size of the ‘recycle’ grocery bags.
Ice chests work well.
If this don’t work–we try sometin’ different!
